---RIDER NEWS---
Our captain Riste Nikolovski is starting to assert himself in the cycling world. We are happy to report that our captain has been able to cultivate a great atmosphere in the squad, team spirit is on the rise. More on his exploits in the race news section.
Meanwhile, we are still guiding Metodija Aksentiev to help him reach his potential. His sprints are already unrivalled in Macedonia, the next few weeks we will help him on a technical level and see if he can improve his position on the flat roads. Keep an eye out for him, he will soon be able to lead a sprint train!
---RACE NEWS---
The main reason for this new press release is this section - the race reports. Last time we wrote a report our main goal was a solid performance in Uttendorf - Matrei in Osttirol. We had a great practise race with La Calle Real de Salento, where Riste took 2d and Gjorgi Beqiri completed the podium with a nice 3d place. After that Riste took 4th in The Flight of the Shahbaz and 4th again in Uttendorf. We were hoping for a podium place in our first classic, but looking at the opposition 4th is a solid achievement.
After Uttendorf we were able to race in Division 6, just in time to attend Odyssey of the Oryx. Without too much experience on the cobbles, we wanted to go for experience, and perhaps a podium finish on the last stages. After the 5th stage, however, Riste found himself in 13th, and 3d in the Youth Classification. Together with Cedomir Ivanov Velosipedska got top 10 finishes in stage 3, 4 and 5 - exactly what we hoped for.
Stage 6, however, was a tricky one. Riste was almost one minute behind Cornel Lascu in the YC, and the fight for a top 10 finish in GC was close between several riders. Riste decided to take this opportunity to show the world his skills and managed to take an impessive 7th on the stage, netting him 7th overall and the Youth jersey (48 second ahead of Lascu, who had an unfortunate off day).
Velosipedska would like to congratulate Riste for making Macedonian history. This jersey is the first jersey ever won by a Macedonian team. We believe he will be able to snatch a YC or two if he keeps performing like this.
That's all we have for you today, thank you for reading.
Kind regards,
-KrMees-

good job, keep it up!
Congrats with your first jersey!
Riste showing great things and Metodija showing great promise, all going smooth so far for Macedonia ;)
Ty for the responses, Metodija looks promising indeed, I hope to find some support for him. If I can't get the riders for a proper train I might sell him to focus on climbing, giving him a chance to reach higher. My next few talents will decide the team's fate.
Congrats!
result*
Congrats on that results. That's a big one.
Congrats to the jersey that my team is still missing! :) BTW that sprinter looks VERY promissing.
Exceptional things for a Macedonian team
The first Jersey in the history of the country .
Metodija is looking promising ; although I'm a bit worried of lack of support for him ; Riste still has Beriqi to help him !
